Regarding the customer's requirements for aqueous (non-particulate) media, ambient temperature, 10-meter head, fluoropolymer lining, and variable frequency motor, and based on the IMC series magnetic drive pump models recommended by our technicians, the following is the optimized selection scheme and key considerations:
I. Analysis of the Original Recommended Models (Motor Type Adjustment Required)
The three IMC series pumps recommended by our technicians all use standard motors, but the customer specifically requested a variable frequency motor. The following adjustments need to be confirmed:
Motor Compatibility: Standard motors cannot be directly adapted to frequency converters; a dedicated variable frequency motor must be used.
Power Matching: The power of the variable frequency motor may need to be adjusted according to the speed range (e.g., high-flow models may require a power upgrade).
Model Identification: It is recommended to clearly indicate the frequency converter model (e.g., IMC25-20-100FV, where "V" represents frequency converter).
II. Optimized Frequency Converter Pump Selection Scheme

Adjustment Notes:
IMC50-32-125F: The original 2.2kW motor may not meet the full flow requirement of 16m³/h. Upgrading to a 3.0kW variable frequency motor is recommended.
Variable Frequency Drive Configuration: The variable frequency drive must be selected based on the motor power (e.g., a 1.5kW pump with a 1.5kW variable frequency drive, with a 20% margin).
III. Confirmation of Key Technical Parameters
Media Compatibility: F46 fluoropolymer-lined pump is suitable for most aqueous solutions, but it is necessary to confirm whether it contains highly corrosive components (such as concentrated hydrochloric acid or bromine). If so, PFA or PTFE material must be used.
If the medium contains chloride ions (Cl⁻), the concentration must be confirmed (e.g., >5000ppm requires special treatment).
Temperature Range: F46 performs stably under normal temperature conditions. If the medium temperature is close to 100℃, a high-temperature fluoropolymer-lined material must be used.
System Pressure: Ensure inlet pressure ≤ 0.3MPa to avoid cavitation; outlet pressure must ≤ pump rated head (10 meters).
Installation Requirements:
Magnetic pumps must be installed horizontally; vertical installation may cause magnetic drive failure.
Allow sufficient maintenance space (e.g., distance between motor and pump body ≥ 150mm).
